Job description
Victim Support is looking to appoint a full time Internal Auditor internally known as Internal Audit and Quality Management Systems Coordinator who will carry out local service audits across England and Wales and coordinate quality activities that support the QMS. You will be home-based but there will be regular travel to audit sites across England and Wales, with some unsocial hours.Victim Support (VS) is an independent charity for people affected by crime in England and Wales. We work towards a world where people affected by crime or traumatic events get the support they need and respect they deserve.The successful candidate will:Carry out regular internal audits of Victim Support's servicesMake sure that any improvements arising from audit are logged and acted onReview and continually develop the Audit plan and Audit framework in conjunction with senior managers and operational leadsEnsure the smooth running of the Quality management systemHave effective influencing and communication skills.To be successful in this role, you will have experience of carrying out service planning and audit, preferably within a charitable, public sector operational environment. You will have high standard and effective report writing and organisational skills, and a good understanding of the application of performance data in audit.
