What you'll need to succeed

My client is looking for an IT Capacity Manager to join the organisation remotely on a contract basis, supporting across their IT estate and virtual server estate environment of up to 200 servers.

The successful candidate will have the ability to manage all Availability, Capacity and Performance Management principles and System Management technologies across Azure, Intune, SCOM and SCCM.

Skills\/Experience:

* Extensive knowledge, understanding and subject matter expertise including but not limited to:
* Ability to deliver high standards of customer care.
* A good understanding of either Project or Change Management methodology
* Excellent stakeholder and customer management skills
* Good reporting and presentation skills
* Advanced use of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

* Solid operational understanding and technical knowledge of multiple standards and tools; ITIL preferably V3 Practitioner qualified, ITSM preferably Service Now
* Proven track record of running an effective IT Availability, Capacity and Performance Management function
* Experience in process ownership and delivering process functions
* Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
* Familiarity with Project Management Approaches and the project delivery life cycle
* Familiarity with the SDLC (Service Delivery Life Cycle)
* Educated to degree level or external industry experience
* ITIL Intermediate level
* Excellent data analysis preferably Power BI and service management skills
* Proven experience as a Capacity manager applying a wide range of tools and methods in a variety of different scenarios to include the use of digital technologies to successfully meet application and operational requirements in a business setting
* Proven experience of delivering digital projects or undertaking business change using digital technologies within an organisation
* Experience of applying a proactive approach to engaging with clients to actively seek solutions to meet business needs

The position is currently fully remote until Covid safe.
