An exciting opportunity for a proactive and ambitious Marketing Manager to join a leading B2B media and events company.

Your new role
You will own and deliver a marketing strategy for a portfolio of events and brands. You will work as part of a cross functional team and provide data insight for improving the marketing and digital activities across the various marketing touchpoints. To help the marketing team achieve their goals, the company have invested in the latest CRM and automation platform. This is an all encompassing role in growing marketing team of 8 professionals.

You will be responsible for the following areas:

* Event Marketing - creating a delegate acquisition and retention marketing strategy for approx. 20 virtual and in-person events - including Summits, Awards, Roundtables and Masterclasses
* Digital Marketing
* Marketing communication and social media
* Sourcing\/liaising with external partners and supporters
* Data\/customer insight:
*

* Analyse, track and report on event ROI, working with the wider Marketing team and internal stakeholders to understand objectives of each event
* Conduct thorough market analysis (including but not limited to internal data analysis of previous events, external research, in-depth collaboration with content production team)

* Proactively suggest ways to optimise engagement with attendees to deliver ROI
* Content Marketing - write engaging content to attract and nurture prospects
* Commercial\/sponsorship lead generation

What you'll need to succeed

* 3-4 years' experience in a similar role within a commercial organisation
* Experience of developing and implementing strategies and plans
* Experience with Content Management Systems and Marketing automation platforms
* Personable and great at building constructive relationships
* Strong project management skills - delivery on time and within budget
* Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail and accuracy
* Ability to problem solve and suggest solutions
* Ability to work on own initiative as well as a strong commitment to team working and collaboration
* Confident and mature approach to communicating at all levels and across departments
