Job description

The Social Research division of this World Class Market Research Agency bridges the gap between government and the public, providing robust research and analysis. They cover broad issues that shape the delivery of public services in modern society and how to engage the public in the policy-making process.

Clients include some of the biggest, most high profile government departments (HMRC, DWP, DCMS, DIT).Recent research studies have included assessing the effects of changes to Universal Credit service delivery on claimants;
public perceptions to inform development of a new Pensions Dashboard;
measuring business readiness for the end of the Brexit transition period, and understanding the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on businesses and their use of government financial support.

They now seek a qualitative SRE to join the London team and work across the Trade, Innovation & Enterprise and Employment, Welfare & Skills teams.

You will have responsibility for management across all qualitative aspects of the project from set up through to delivery. You will be contributing effectively to client relationships, working with clients and colleagues to apply appropriate research designs, including creation of discussion guides, data collection and providing clients with actionable insights that address complex issues, creating presentations\/reports focused on insights and stories from data, with sound recommendations, managing relationships with suppliers and internal operations colleagues to ensure the objectives of the research are met, on time and on budget, providing guidance, support and coaching to junior team members and monitoring project financials.

You will have solid experience of primary qualitative methodology including drafting of discussion guides and recruitment material.

You will have the ability to multi-task, prioritise and hit deadlines , bring passion and thinking around the challenges faced by your clients and show commercial acumen and a willingness to innovate and challenge conventional thinking.
