Job description

Queen's College, London is seeking a full-time Alumnae & Development Officer to provide hands-on support to the Director of Communications, Admissions & Development, to help deliver a comprehensive fundraising and alumnae engagement strategy, initially centred around the College's 175th Anniversary in 2023. This role will involve implementing a varied range of appeals, events and campaigns across both Queen's College and Queen's College Preparatory School (QCPS).

Queen's College, London is a leading independent day school for girls between the ages of 11 and 18, occupying four large, historic houses on Harley Street in central London. Our outstanding Queen's College Preparatory School for girls aged 4 to 11, is situated in a separate building, just around the corner on Portland Place. As the first school in the UK to grant academic qualifications to women, Queen's has an extraordinary history and many illustrious alumnae. We are proud to remain at the forefront of girls' education and are now one of the most high-achieving, diverse and forward-looking schools in London. This appointment represents an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to help Queen's widen access to more pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds by achieving our fund-raising goals. We are currently on track to reach our target of having at least 10% of pupils on full bursaries by the time we celebrate our 175th Anniversary in 2023.
