Job description

Job Title: Assistant Performance and Information Analyst
Sector: Public Sector
Location: Home Based (Derby based company)
Hourly Pay Rate: £11.76 to £14.32 dependent on experience.
Contract: Initial term until the end of February 2022
Hours: 37.5 hours per week.

Grafton Recruitment are now seeking to appoint an Assistant Performance and Information Analyst on behalf of our client based in Derby. This role is fully home based and equipment will be supplied by the client. The post-holder will need to be available for a minimum of 3 months. The role is available immediately and pay rates will be negotiated upon interview succession.

Duties

Support the Performance and Information Analyst to deliver an effective data and information analyst service, for them to meet their individual strategic and operational objectives.
Support the Performance and Information Analyst in the maintenance and development of routine reports, including but not limited to Activity Performance, Quality and Finance.
Highlight anomalies or emerging trends to the Performance and Information Analyst for further exploration
Work with the Performance and Information Analyst to utilise modelling and forecasting techniques to predict future need and demand.
Work with a broad spectrum of information from a wide range of sources presenting complex and sophisticated information in a meaningful way to increase organisational knowledge and enable evidence-based decisions.
Ensure timely and effective communication with relevant colleagues, taking forward actions with the providers or commissioning colleagues to resolve issues

Requirements

Experience of working at a similar level within a specialist area - information / data analyst;
Experience of completing variance analysis within large data sets and ability to understand and present reasons for movement;
Experience of identifying themes and trends within large amounts of complex data and using this to forecast future predictions
Previously worked in similar position within the Public Sector;
Demonstration of skills in information analysis and interpretation of contracts, contract monitoring reports and performance reports;
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel with excellent data manipulation and interpretation skills;
