Are you a Level 6/7 qualified careers advisor with an interest in working in an excellent Academy.

We have vacancy in an excellent Academy in Bromley which is Term Time only plus 5 days. This is a permanent vacancy. This is a lovely school and the staff are really helpful and supportive. We have supplied staff to this school for several years and they have had a very rewarding experience.

The Academy require a dedicated and inspirational CIAG and Employability Co-ordinator to play a key role in providing a range of guidance and career planning to enhance student employability including leading on Work Related Learning (WRL) and Careers activities.

There is flexibility on the number of days for this role from 3 days as a minimum to 5 days a week. The salary as quoted would be pro-rated accordingly.

The role will ensure that the Academy delivers a coordinated careers education and guidance for all students.

The successful candidate will also lead on a range of projects which will assist and support students into employment or high education.

This role will be responsible for helping young people to draw up action plans for employment, education and supporting them to achieve their goals.

CER Education Role Requirements:

You will have:

A minimum of Level 6 qualification in Careers Advisory services
Preferably experience as a Careers Coordinator previously
Excellent UCAS leader experience
Recent experience working as a careers adviser in a secondary school environment
Recent experience of careers provision in an academic environment
Excellent LMI knowledge
A proven track record of consistently good/outstanding advisory support
The ability to engage, inspire and motivate young people
Excellent report writing, administration, IT, organisation and time keeping skills
A valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one
