Are you experienced in the delivery of design programmes on Railway projects?

Are you looking for a permanent opportunity with a leading contractor?

My client is looking to hire a development manager to join their team in London Waterloo.
This role will be responsible for successful development of a sub-package of pre-construction works for both Network Rail and my client. They will be responsible for the development of schemes through design and other pre-construction activities, to ultimately hand over the schemes to delivery teams to construct.

Salary: £37,500 to £45,000 plus company car.
Where: London, Waterloo.

Required:

Prior experience delivering design programmes.
Commercial awareness.
Create survey strategy and ensure handed over to survey lead in timely manner.
Create estimating pack and ensure handed to estimating team in line with date agreed.
Prior experience or desire to potentially line manage 2 to 3 staff.
Knowledge of railway engineering design and experience interfacing between construction and design teams.
Lead on increasing the use of BIM, technology and IT to improve efficiency.
Knowledge of Network Rail standards.
Track Safety Card.
CSCS Card.
Main contractor experience beneficial.
