City Site Solutions are looking to recruit an Estimator for a client of ours that are based in Cowley, Oxfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experience Estimator to join our client's small but evolving industrial construction team. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the success of projects by using your previous estimating and purchasing experience.

We are looking to recruit someone who has an understanding of the products and infrastructure of commercial buildings, can be proactive and establish themselves quite quickly a team.

Other benefits would include familiarity with both pre-construction and pre-contract environments, an ability to compile project budgets and cost plans, good IT skills and communication skills whilst also being able to attend site visits and meeting new clients.

You must be able to carry out take-offs from drawings, identify new potenial suppliers and negotiate rates, knowledge of JCT contract standards, Ability to identify potential new suppliers and negotiate rates, Ability to maintain up to date information on current suppliers and their pricing/delivery policies and raise purchase orders, as necessary.

This is an office-based role with site visits when required, so a full driving license will be essential.
