Prospectus is delighted to be working with our client to recruit their new Finance Officer.

Our client delivers rapid response and cutting-edge medical care to save lives in the city. They bring the hospital emergency department to the scene, delivering life-saving treatment to the 10 million people who live and work in London. The service was established by a group of committed, determined and pioneering medics, who saw that people were dying before they could get to hospital and understood that every second counts.

As the Finance Officer, you will oversee accounts payable transactions and processes and maintain the purchase ledger, as well as set up and maintain filling systems, banking cash and other general duties to assist the wider finance team. The post holder will also assist with month-end and year-end processes as well as support the data team as appropriate.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a finance and/or management accounting position as well as currently be working towards an accountancy qualification. You will have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and good written and oral communication skills. The ability to communicate complex financial data to both financial and non-financial audiences is also key to this post.
