Join us and help shape the future of agricultureAbout this opportunity:To provide technical understanding, support and guidance to plant teams. The job holder will be the primary source of technical expertise for formulation manufacturing, and will act as the contact for technical queries from both within the plant and from external teams. The job holder will deliver ongoing production excellence and continuous process improvement.Please see below an outline of the position:Provide technical support to the manufacturing team for production issues ranging from batch failure investigation and correction, to operational issues associated with the manufacturing process.Participate in the generation and delivery of a Technical Development Programme for GFP, encompassing small process improvements as well as wider scope projects.Operate as a key site contact for all formulation matters. This will involve liaison with external teams, e.g. Formulation Development, Formulation Engineering, Regulatory, and others.Liaise with planning and operations teams to facilitate effective month-end processes.Manage activities in compliance with site, company and regulatory requirements, e.g. SI's, HSE polEssential Experience & Qualifications:Experience and knowledge of chemical manufacturing, critical data analysis (statistics/experimental design), scale-up, plant establishment, manufacturing support.Some experience and knowledge of laboratory/analytical work.Experience of Formulation Development would be advantageous.Preferably educated to at least Honours Degree standard in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a closely related subject.In return for your skills and knowledge Syngenta will offer:Competitive benefits packageUp to 31.5 days holidayThe opportunity to work with and learn from highly qualified and experienced employeesWe embrace and encourage diversity, and this is what drives our innovation and lets us outperform the market.
