Global Procurement Manager - Indirect Professional Services

Chemical Manufacturing Organization

Location - Mannheim, Germany (2-3 days Flex Working)

Salary - €90k-€110k package inclusive of bonus

Having recently separated from its parent company, this global manufacturing business is now Private Equity owned and undergoing a period of transformation to deliver significant cost and operational performance improvements. This established global procurement organization has coverage across all of the global indirect spend of the business across 60 countries in EMEA, APAC and the Americas, with the global HQ based in Mannheim.

As part of this ongoing transformation, the business is looking for an experienced global procurement manager with expertise in leading indirect procurement services, particularly in the area of professional services. You will be directly responsible for the management of €60M-€70M of professional services spend which will include Consulting, Legal, EHS, HR and other relevant services.

To be considered for the position of Global Procurement Manager of Indirect Professional Services you will require the following skills & experience:-

  • Proven track record of leading an international indirect spend portfolio with expert knowledge of professional services spend
  • Excellent contract management and negotiations skills and ability to lead global tenders
  • Experience working within global, matrix-structured, organisations and effectively managing a multi-national stakeholder base
  • Strategic sourcing expert with knowledge of the full source to contract process
  • Highly analytical and process-driven mentality with a passion for delivering change and process improvement
  • Excellence communication skills in English; German fluency is desirable but not essential
