Job description

We have an exciting opportunity to join a well-established training provider.

This Training Provider is growing at an excellent rate and as a result, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Senior HR Business Partner.

This Training Provider is rated as GOOD by Ofsted and currently employ 200+ employees.

This is a blended role that will include a mix of working from home and the office which is in Greater Manchester.

The successful candidate will lead on the strategic direction and implementation of a range of HR services for all employees and be responsible for supporting the business and offering a high level of service to support managers and colleagues.

In return, the Senior HR Business Partner can expect to receive a salary of between £35000- £40000, competitive holidays, and a genuine opportunity for career progression.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities of the Senior HR Business Partner
• To assist the Director of Quality and Performance in the development and direction of the HR function and to assess the impact of major policy and legislative change.
• Develop succession plans and actions and deliver training on HR initiatives
• Proactive in recognising any new HR legislation matters relevant to the business
• Maintain HR systems and administration, staff records, personnel, holiday, and sickness etc.
• Administer all HR related matters; referencing, probationary periods, maternity/paternity, and other leave requests, invite and outcome letters and hold welfare meetings.
• Implement a recruitment strategy that significantly reduces the reliance on agencies to a self- sufficient function, with a multitude of creative and innovative cost-effective and direct hiring methods.
• Managing multiple resourcing campaigns, implementing workforce initiatives to support the attraction of high calibre talent into the organisation, enhancing candidate experience and developing reporting.
• Responsible for the design and implementation of strategic HR policy/ performance/ reward initiatives, including ad hoc special projects or handling of complicated case management issues.
• Respond and support the Directors and Managers with employment queries and issues.
• Offer guidance and assistance with handling grievance and disciplinary matters.
• Listening to grievances and implementing disciplinary procedure
• Revises and updates Job Descriptions by company practices and changes in legislation.
• To be the health and safety lead for the organisation
• To be a safeguarding lead for the organisation

Skills and Experience required for the Senior HR Business Partner

• Previous HR Management experience ideally within an education setting
• Ideally educated to degree standard with level 2 in Maths and English or equivalent
• CIPD qualified
• Up to date knowledge and understanding of employment law and HR processes
• Proven track record in delivering best practices and be results-driven
• Demonstrates a successful track record in stakeholder management
• Extensive knowledge of GDPR practise and processes
• Flexible to travel across multi-sites throughout England as and when required
