Are you looking to utilize your indirect IT procurement expertise within a nationally renowned organization where you can rapidly progress? If so, this is the perfect position for you.

This billion pound revenue organization is seeking an Indirect IT Procurement Category Manager to join its team. You will have the opportunity to work autonomously within the Technology Procurement category as well as work collaboratively within a best-in-class procurement team. This organization prides itself on individually developing its employees with opportunities for fast track progression.

You will predominately be responsible for a variety of Indirect IT Procurement sub-categories, however, you will also gain exposure to other indirect procurement categories, such as Professional Services procurement and FM procurement.

Within this Indirect IT Procurement Category Manager opportunity, you will…

• Lead all IT procurement activities, such as scoping and delivering sourcing projects for various IT procurement sub-categories, including but not limited to, software procurement, hardware procurement and networks procurement
• Work in a time efficient manner with all relevant stakeholders in order to maintain alignment and effectively deliver procurement strategy, particularly in relation to hardware procurement
• Deliver the yearly savings plan whilst incorporating future pipeline of procurement projects that are aligned with overall business performance targets and stakeholder requirements
• Undertake a variety of day-to-day procurement activities, from leading commercial negotiations and delivery of contracts to aiding in delivery of overall business agenda and initiatives

• Degree / CIPS would be advantageous but not essential
• Ability to demonstrate a strong track record in Indirect Procurement, particularly in relation to IT procurement sub-categories, such as hardware, software and Cloud
• Strong skills surrounding negotiation, Stakeholder Management and communication
• Desire to work autonomously within a fast-paced environment
