We help our clients stay ahead of changes that impact their businesses, navigating complexity and risk. We deliver deep tax technical and legal expertise, while providing the critical context to make informed and compliant decisions. With clients ranging from multinational organisations and public sector bodies to entrepreneurs and family businesses, the work we do is diverse.

Our Tax Disputes lawyers are integrated into PwC's tax business. This enables the team to offer clients a fully integrated tax disputes offering, covering all stages of the dispute from initial enquiry and investigation to final resolution either by agreement or through the courts. Litigation is not a separate stage in the resolution process - It is part of that process. Clients come to us as we can also offer the tax technical depth of knowledge and the ability to flex how we resolve disputes; including recourse to other settlement mechanisms such as ADR or Treaty resolution as well as our recognised expertise in tax litigation. [NB, Tax Disputes covers both Direct and Indirect Tax]

About the team
This market leading indirect tax disputes team currently consists of 16 fee earners with specialisms across all of the indirect taxes: VAT, customs duties, excise duty and all of the environmental taxes.
