Locum Principal Childcare Lawyer

East Midlands

Remote working

£70-75 per hour

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a locum Principal Childcare Lawyer required to join a large shared service arrangement for a period of 6-12 months initially whilst they recruit on a permanent basis. The public authority are offering fully remote working.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Childcare lawyer that has previous management experience and is looking for either the next step up in their career or looking to continue with their professional development with a large childcare team in a wider shared service arrangement.

This role will bring challenges but is highly rewarding and will provide long term prospects for those who are considering permanent opportunities also.

The successful Principal Childcare Lawyer will be responsible for the following duties;

Have direct report of 3 Senior Childcare lawyers with management responsibilities
Oversee the childcare team in the East Midlands office which consists of Senior lawyers, lawyers, paralegals and legal assistants
Attend management meetings and assist the Head of Childcare with improvements across the service
Streamlining processes and support with recruitment
1-2-1s, appraisals, training and support for team members
