Title: Maintenance Supervisor
Contract type: Permanent, full time, 35 hours per week

Location: South West Neighbourhood. (West Region)

Salary: £37,048 - £42,500pa depending on experience

Maintenance Services are looking for an experienced Voids Supervisor to join the team within the South West London Neighbourhood.

The post holder will be responsible for the management of voids repairs, pre-inspections of voids jobs, work in progress inspections and post-inspections of works carried out. You will ensure that the voids service is handled within specified turnaround times and inline with L&Q's voids standard.

You should be confident to give advice to operatives on complexed jobs and hard fixes and will be responsible for interacting and engaging with managers, stakeholders from other areas of the business. You will liaise with the Neighbourhood and caretaking teams as well as contact centre and other supervisors to ensure consistency in service delivery.

You will be confident in managing contractors, meeting regularly with the commercial team and reporting any relevant information on performance to them.

We expect our Supervisors to look have a good understanding of Health and Safety including knowledge of Asbestos, Fire and Hygiene and for them to pass this knowledge on to their teams. Dealing quickly with any breaches or potential problems before they happen.

  • Ability to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Able to be motivate others to deliver under pressure
  • Understanding of the inspection process
  • Health and Safety Knowledge
  • Knowledge of schedule of rates
