A super friendly and creative primary school based in the East London borough of Hackney is looking to recruit a confident and creative graduate teaching assistant to support students across KS1 and KS2.

We're specifically looking for candidates with an Arts or Drama background, who have some previous experience working with children as well as the ability to engage students using creative and artistic methods.

Additionally, if you are an *Aspiring Primary Teacher* the school can offer Salaried Teacher Training commencing the following September. These opportunities are only open to internal applicants, so frequently graduates will work the full year as Teaching Assistant then progress onto a salaried, debt-free route into primary teaching!

*What will this Primary Teaching Assistant position involve?*

· Working with students across KS1 and KS2 (EYFS / Reception - Year 6)

· May involve supporting students with mild SEN (ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, Speech & Language issues)

· Small group and 1:1 work

· Using creativity and imagination to engage students with the primary curriculum

*About You: *

· Strong academic background including GCSEs, A Levels and an Arts / Drama / Musical Theatre degree from a reputable university (2:1 or above)

· Some previous experience working with children

· A confident and enthusiastic personality

· Creative and capable of coming up with innovative & fun ideas and activities!

· A genuine passion for education - we strongly encourage applications from aspiring Primary Teachers and those hoping to gain primary school work experience

*About the Role: *

· Primary Teaching Assistant

· Working with students across KS1 and KS2 (EYFS / Reception - Year 6)

· Small group and 1:1 work

· Pay: £80 - £90 per day + excellent healthcare package

· Full-time (term-time only) - long-term - September 2021 start

· Based in Hackney, East London
