Contract Length: 6 Month Initial Contract (Temp - Perm)

New Requirement! We have several openings for skilled and experienced PTS / Sentinel Card holders & Operatives, to join a leading train operating company as a Train Cleaner, performing a range cleaning tasks to ensure the trains are meeting cleanliness standards and are suitable for passenger service.

The Candidate:
Are you hard working, enjoy working within a team environment and the physical nature of a role where you are constantly active? We have several new openings for PTS Train Cleaners to work at a local train depot where you shall be tasked with a range of cleaning activities as part of the train presentation night shift team.
To apply and to be considered for this role you must hold a valid & in date PTS / Sentinel Card.
The Role:
As part of the train presentation team, you shall be tasked with interior train cleaning tasks such as deep cleans and full cleans (touch point cleaning, sanitising, hoovering, mopping, removing of rubbish & waste etc…) to ensure the trains are meeting the cleanliness standards and are presentable for passenger service.
This opportunity leads to a permanent position, with opportunities to progress as a Team Leader, Duty Leader and more within the train presentation area of the business. However, with the organisation experiencing huge growth plans, there are also opportunities to progress within engineering, customer service and other key areas of the business.
Requirements
A highly desired & skilled role requires you to hold a valid & in date PTS / Sentinel Card for this position, along with a strong work ethic, good communication skills, reliability, and flexibility to work nights on weekdays and weekends as part of a 7-night roster schedule. Working hours are 21:00/22:00pm start and 04:00/05:00am finish.
Rates of Pay, Working Hours and Benefits:
Standard Hours - £11.23 p/h with overtime at £16.23 p/h
