About the team
Our Experienced Hire team manages the recruitment of thousands of people into PwC in the UK every year. We pride ourselves on delivering cost efficient and client focused service across the key areas of our business and we are passionate about delivering high calibre talent to our teams.
The Experienced Hire recruitment team is responsible for managing and overseeing internal and external recruitment for PwC in the UK. By providing a range of recruitment solutions for our business areas we are able to attract high calibre and diverse candidates to our roles.
Our team of c40 people is made up of Recruitment Officers, Managers and Senior Managers based across the UK.
We're currently seeking a Recruitment Officer to join our team.
About the role
As a Recruitment Officer within our team you'll work closely with one of Recruitment Managers to run and oversee recruitment for a wide range of roles across our UK offices. You'll be responsible for the recruitment of Manager and Senior Manager across several business areas, including developing running end to end recruitment processes.
To be successful in this role you'll have experience of working in a 360 recruitment role in either an agency, RPO or similar internal recruitment role. You'll be confident taking the initial role from the initial briefing through to offering to the successful candidate.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Managing the end-to-end recruitment cycle at Manager and Senior Manager level
- Liaising with Hiring Managers to understand recruitment needs
- Ensuring a detailed brief is undertaken for each vacancy
- Creation of compelling job adverts
- Candidate attraction via multiple channels
- CV reviewing and candidate telephone screening
- Working with our in-house interview scheduling team to ensure interviews are progressing in a timely manner
- Advising and managing applicants through the interview and selection process
- Effectively managing the offer and onboarding process
- Providing Interview feedback to candidates
- Ensuring candidates move through the process within agreed SLAs
- Acting as the point of contact for recruitment agencies
Essential Skills and experience
- Previous experience in managing the recruitment cycle from the creation of a brief to offering the successful candidate(s)
- Delivery of recruitment services from a recruitment agency, RPO or in-house environment
- Experience using direct sourcing tools (such as LinkedIn, talent pooling and industry relevant job boards)
- Passionate about creating an excellent candidate experience
- Commercial understanding of a business and how recruitment can support the requirements of stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple recruitment campaigns with tight deadlines
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at a range of levels.
- Ability to develop good working relationships with stakeholders, team members and others within the wider recruitment function
