From the seed of the idea to the outcome of the solution, we enrich the quality of life the world over.Your ResponsibilitiesThe Refinery Mechanical Operator will have ownership for the following areas:CHPWWTPCompressed air systemsSteam systemsNitrogen systemsUtility water systemsBarometric water systemAll DrainsClean DitchGas SystemsResponsible for monitoring the waste water treatment plant and making sure all compliance limits are achievedResponsible for power generation and Steam production in the CHP plant.To provide mechanical service and support for emergency breakdowns and other mechanical duties out of hours.Responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the department following a GMP schedule.To supervise contractor when turnkey project are in place.To enter and close work orders using Maximo.Responsible for own personal safety and of that of people working in his/her area, Insuring the safe start-up, running and shut-down of plant and machinery in his/her area.To look at weather forecasts to prepare plant for potential flood conditions and taking the longer than 12 hour view. Maintain high standard of cleanliness following GMP guidelinesPerform small maintenance related jobs and liaise with maintenance departmentInsure product throughput and quality is maintained to the required levels and specification.Responsible for some site inspection with the use of a digital auditor (Drain system, Lagging, steam leak, air leaks and others)Report to the Utilities Manager and support the shift manager out of hours.
