Job description
*This position can be based from a number of our regional offices throughout the UK.
We are looking for a Director level candidate to lead our Sales & Marketing strategy and team for our Execution Managed Services offering. The role will work closely with the Head of Execution Managed Services and the Execution Managed Services leaders across the Lines of Service.
The role will report to the Go-to-Market Strategy Director in Sales & Marketing. Candidates must have strong sales and marketing experience, including leading teams to deliver market outcomes, and have experience in the dynamics of Managed Services within professional services.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a business Leadership Team in defining and executing its go to market strategy. Execution Managed Services is a growing strategic priority for the firm as we seek to respond to the needs of our clients.
The successful candidate will:
- Work closely, and lead day to day, with the Execution Managed Services leadership to provide Sales and Marketing best practice, insight and challenge.
- Identify and drive market opportunities, growth strategies, channels to market and client issues.
- Agree the Sales and Marketing strategic priorities and deliver against appropriate key performance indicators for the business area and review quality of delivery.
- Provide leadership and line management to the Sales and Marketing aligned team and wider Sales and Marketing capabilities to focus on the growth strategy and alignment of resources and budgets.
- Align common activity and strategic issues with other areas of the business, through the peer group of Directors across the Sales and Marketing leadership, to ensure that a Services mindset exists across the firm's go-to-market.
- Coordinate with Sales & Marketing capability leaders and team specialists, including qualifying and prioritising any new requests, to ensure that the right skills from the function are deployed against the business strategy.
- Be aware of and manage the mitigation and escalation of risk in any activities or experience day to day
As a member of the Sales & Marketing Director team the successful candidate will also contribute to:

Requirements:
- The jobholder must possess excellent communication skills and gravitas with senior stakeholders, both clients and senior PwC management.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the strategic business drivers for global, complex clients and mid-tier clients and have a proven experience in Managed Services.
- Strong leadership and people management experience. Leading, motivating, developing and coaching diverse Sales and/or Marketing teams. Needs to bring energy, enthusiasm and drive.
- Proven experience of creating and leading integrated sales & marketing strategy in the context of business strategy
- Resilience and ability to lead through change
- Strong knowledge of best practice sales and marketing
- Background & experience in professional services, financial services and/or technology would be advantageous
