Senior Property Lawyer is required to join a unique organisation which spans across three offices. This organisation prides itself on being the market leader for providing to public sector bodies are seeking a Senior Property Lawyer to join their team on a full time permanent basis ideally however candidates seeking a 4 day working week will also be considered. This role will require you to attend the office 1-2 days per week and will allow you to work from home for the remainder of the week.

The Senior Property lawyer will be responsible for the delivery of all aspects of legal advice within their team where they will be expected to build strong relationships with internal and external partners. The successful candidate will be able to provide a range of public sector and not for profit clients with a professional and innovative legal service predominantly regarding commercial property and regeneration.
This position will include management responsibilities and it is therefore imperative that the senior property lawyer is confident in handling a full caseload consisting of, but not limited to, the following matters:
Preparing, negotiating and advising on all aspects relating to regeneration projects and commercial property work
Advising and negotiating on projects involving multiple agencies and clients' interests
Leading within the team and taking responsibility for the more complex cases
Providing guidance and support to other members of the team
Contributing to management of the team, deputising for the principal property lawyer and attending management meetings
Supervising and mentoring other members of the team and contribute to the development, mentoring and training of colleagues
An experienced Property Lawyer with local authority experience is highly preferable, however our client is willing to consider Property lawyers from other backgrounds with transferable skills.
The role will be a hybrid working arrangement and you will have the opportunity to choose to work from 1 of 3 offices - Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire or Bedfordshire.
