About The RoleWe are a growing people centric Consumer Finance business, who are expanding our QA/Test team by appointing a fully remote Senior Tester.We're offering a Senior Test Analyst the opportunity to further embed our quality focused approach to software development across our critical business transformation and cross-business change projects, and ultimately support the development of our cutting edge FinTech organisation.We're looking for someone with a passion for quality, community building and mentoring to remotely lead testing within a delivery team. In addition, you'll be hands-on in designing and implementing test strategies for web and mobile applications. Someone, who is quality focused with a modern testing perspective, able to pick up new techniques and enjoys keeping up to date with advances in mobile/web technologies and how they can be applied to projects.You will also have:Demonstrable experience operating in a variety of software delivery frameworks, including ScrumDemonstrable experience of defining and executing successful test plansDemonstrable experience of testing at all stages of the SDLCDemonstrable experience leading the test activities on their workstreamsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsFlexible in approach and positive about changeStrong attention to detail, combined with an appreciation of the wider pictureBroad knowledge of a variety of current test and release toolsAn appreciation of test automation techniquesStrong knowledge SQL to prepare test data and verify test resultsRelevant certifications from respected institutionsExperience of working in the financial sectorAbout UsShelby Finance Ltd is a subsidiary of Morses Club and is a forward thinking FinTech organisation who offer financial products through our brands, Dot Dot Loans, an online loans service and U Account, a digital online bank account, helping customers analyse spend, set spending budgets, whilst earn cashback.
