Supply Chain Cyber Assurance Manager
The role of the Supply Chain Cyber Assurance Manager is to provide security assurance to Highways England by assessing the security risk and criticality of supplier organisations and delivery partners that store, access, or process Highways England data, or provide a critical service. They will shape and develop the supply chain security strategy and processes which will impact Highways England's complete supply chain.
What you'll be leading on
Manage the delivery and life cycle of supplier cyber security assurance processes including setting assurance standards.
- Coordinate and assist internal and external partners and cross functional teams to implement effective supply chain security programs to detect, prevent and resolve supply chain threats and issues.
- Maintain an up-to-date record of all suppliers and delivery partners that access, store, process and provide critical services to Highways England and ensure they adhere to the relevant standards.
- Monitor on-going compliance of suppliers within set schedules depending on the risk profile of the supplier or delivery partner.
- Provide high quality risk reports, with guidance and recommendations, to enable senior business owners to make the most appropriate risk decisions relating to the use of suppliers and delivery partners cyber maturity.
- Remain current with security industry practices trends and technologies. Identify innovative supply chain security trends and technologies that might be leveraged to protect and improve supply chain security operations.
- Support the development of business continuity plans to ensure supply chain security and delivery partner disruptions are an integrated part of Highways England business continuity.
To be successful you will be/be ale to demonstrate
IT audit/risk management, with examples of managing technology risk and compliance within an organisation.
- SME level expertise in respect to information security risk management processes, frameworks and procedures.
- Leading, planning and conducting interviews with suppliers and delivery partners to obtain an understanding of the area being reviewed.
- Documenting processes and key controls in association with supplier and organisational processes.
