You will be joining a well established team as a Maintenance Engineer, focusing on mechanical works to minimise and reduce manufacturing downtime. This will include PPM (Planned Preventative maintenance and Reactive maintenance)

Day to day tasks will include:

* Carrying out pre planned maintenance and reactive maintenance to the production equipment

* Maintain line efficiency by decreasing downtime

* Work with continuous improvement in mind at all times

* Carry out fault finding, machine changeovers and breakdown repairs

* Assist with SOP improvements

* Provide input on relevant CAPEX projects and upgrades

* Keep track of all engineering activities on the in-house system

* Provide updates when required on all critical breakdowns

* Assist with stock control and spares

We are looking for someone who has relevant experience in a similar position, someone that has worked in a production or manufacturing environment and understands the complexities of maintaining production lines, carrying out both Planned Preventative Maintenance and Reactive repairs

You must have solid workshop experience, welding and fabrication knowledge and coming up with "outside of the box" solutions to mechanical engineering problems that arise.

Any experience of working in a regulated or GMP environment would be highly beneficial
