A renowned Global Pharma is in the early stages of exponentially expanding their UK Biostatistics department. The business are the market leaders within their key therapy areas of expertise and are undergoing continuous growth plans throughout.

The Biostatistics function is at the forefront of innovation throughout all areas of analysis within Post-Marketing studies and is currently working on several cutting edge and high profile studies across RWE, Epidemiology, HEOR and HTA which you would have the opportunity to lead.

Your new role

* Takes the statistical lead for Medical Affairs statistics activities for one or more projects
* Lead the coordination of all statistical activities associated with these projects.
* Provides statistical consultation and contributes to multi-disciplinary teams
* Plan\/perform exploratory analysis on internal and external databases.
* Influence decision making processes\/senior stakeholders during drug development process and life-cycle management
* Keep abreast of issues and ensure effective communication of these issues to relevant teams
* Develop and implement innovative statistical methodology within the studies you are working on
* Act as key POC\/department representative to inquiries from health authorities and other internal\/external partners

What you'll need to succeed

* Experienced working on RWE, HEOR or HTA studies
* Thorough knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry including understanding of clinical drug development process
* Excellent interpersonal, leadership and communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Good knowledge of SAS or R
