IT Support Technician | Investment Management

Hays Technology is looking for an IT Support Technician to work for a leading fund manager who has a strong long-term performance record in London.

What you will be doing:

* Responsible for managing incidents and requests across 1st, 2nd and some 3rd line
* Providing support and troubleshooting across the estate, users and c-suites.
* Creating and managing user accounts through active directory, access to shared resources, access security. iPhone mobile device management and controls.
* Preparing documentation for across the IT department for suitable controls and procedures.

Our client who has extensive fund management experience in London's investment industry has been at the heart of supporting organisations for generations. Technology has played a huge part in the strategic direction and execution to the success. They are adding to this with a newly created role to their support function!

What we are looking for:

* Experience providing technical support in an IT environment
* Extensive Active Directory, Microsoft Desktop, Office Suite, Windows 10 and Office 365 knowledge
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365\/Azure admin and basic database functions e.g. backup\/restore
* It would be advantageous if you have sound networking knowledge and PowerShell scripting background.
