Job description

Role Description

We're looking for an Office Manager to join our Ankorstore UK team. You'll be supporting the Country Manager in developing and maintaining Ankorstore's company culture through creating a thoughtful and thorough employee experience whether they're based in the office or working remotely.

You'll oversee the office and facilitate the smooth running of the office, organising people, information and other resources as well as being our first line of support for IT queries.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the efficient running of the office, using a range of software and systems including emails, spreadsheets and Asana.
Provide basic IT support and liaise with the IT help desk for bigger issues. You should have knowledge of basic IT troubleshooting such as laptop reset, reboot, log in errors.
Support the People team and line manager in the preparation and monitoring of onboarding and offboarding of employees, and in their daily life in the company (welcome kits, goodies, innovative experiences, etc.)
Ensure all new starters have laptops set up for their first day.
Establish effective procedures to maintain an efficient working office to meet the demands of a busy international company
To manage the company spend for the UK and take active steps to manage costs for staff events.
Take the lead on multiple company wide contracts - office subscriptions, office lease etc.
Track staff attendance and manage holiday planning calendars
Manage the condition of the office and arrange for necessary repairs in keeping with legal and building SLA's.
Manage health and safety as well as fire regulations within the office.
Source and purchase hardware - external and internal including general office purchases.
Collaborate with the Head Office in France to ensure consistency in our approach to Office Management.

This role is integral to the office so we're looking for someone who is collaborative and enjoys working with large teams.
You'll enjoy working in an autonomous and unstructured environment.
Strong problem solving skills.
Ability to act as the first line of IT support for the UK office.
Proven office management responsibility, systems and procedures.
Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritise work.
Proficient in MS Office/Google Suite
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
