Intelligence officer responsible of sharing information with other regulators.

Information: Full Time.
Job Title: Sharing Officer (intelligence information)

Salary: will be within the range of \u00A328,823 - \u00A331,000

Location: Flexible and remote working is an option.

Summary: Working within the intelligence sharing function within the Regulatory Intelligence Unit (RIU), plan and deliver a programme of engagement activity and develop and support relationships with key stakeholders in line with the strategy. Stakeholders include regulatory bodies, national safeguarding agencies and other partner organisations.

Responsibilities:

* The postholder will responsible for identifying, undertaking assessments and making decisions about sharing information with other regulators and agencies in line with operational and regulatory guidance.

* Work closely with the intelligence research officers and intelligence analysts in RIU to ensure intelligence sharing is considered and embedded into all work and products produced by the team.

* Complete assessments on safeguarding information and make decisions ensuring all communication and rationales are recorded. Where appropriate, share information with partner organisations such as local safeguarding authorities and other regulators.

* Contribute to the development and delivery of the intelligence sharing function and raise awareness and promote the work of the team internally through engagement activity. This includes delivering presentations and training for colleagues at all levels and working closely with the communications team to write and publish internal communications.

Skills and Experience:

* Good written and oral communication skills and ability to communicate complex information in an accessible way
* Working experience sharing information with external organisations.
* Ability to build a stakeholder network and strong relationships with a range of stakeholders

* Up-to-date knowledge, understanding and proven experience of using Freedom of Information & Data Protection legislation during the course of work.

* Ability to understand and interpret complex documents which includes legal documentation
