Permanent role with global pharmaceutical client in North London. Support the Supply Chain Planning function.

Your new company
I am recruiting for a global pharmaceutical company in North London who are looking for a Supply Chain Operations Assistant to sit within their Supply Chain function. This company are a specialist outsourced pharmaceutical development company and are a leader in their field.

Your new role
As the Supply Chain Operations Assistant you will be highly organised with good attention to detail. You will be supporting the Supply Chain Manager and Production team in generating supplier orders and expediting orders with your suppliers to ensure the smooth-running of the production schedule. You will be handling the documentation and management of goods received and making sure the system is up to date. You will be managing key relationships with your suppliers to ensure they are supplying on time and as they should be.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will have strong organisation and communication skills, and be proactive in booking transportation with 3PL or freight suppliers. You will manage key information between supply chain and external suppliers and so you will be calm under pressure, clear in communication and highly organised. You will be number literate and strong on EXCEL as well as any other supply chain system, SAP, SAGE etc. If you have experience supporting a supply chain function with another regulated industry (pharmaceutical\/ food etc) this would be highly advantageous, but not an absolute must.
