Senior Accounts Payable Assistant - Immediate Start in North London

An exciting opportunity for a knowledgeable and confident Senior Accounts Payable Assistant to join a leading construction business based in North London on a temporary full time basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a great understanding of purchase ledger and is looking to join a dynamic and friendly team. The successful candidate will control the accounts payable function for complex accounts & provide the accounts payable function across the business & will continue to identify and implement improvements to accounts payable processes to improve efficiency and control.

Duties & Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

* Processing invoices in a timely manner into the finance system
* Dealing with supplier queries
* Managing the AP inbox
* Supplier statement recs
* Up to 1500 invoices per month
* Identify and implement process improvements in Accounts Payable
* Support and provide cover for Accounts Payable Team Leader as required
* Support month end team with recharge invoicing
* Can demonstrate process improvements identified and implemented

Role requirements include:

* 2 - 5 years experience in an accounts payable or purchase ledger function
* Experience with Evision is a plus
* Previous use of Microsoft Business Central an advantage
* IT Literate on Word, Excel and Outlook

* Proficient on accountancy software packages
* A good knowledge of the whole finance process

Salary:

* \u00A310 - \u00A313 per hour depending on experience
