*Responsibilities for the Clinical Lead Nurse (RGN / RMN): *

* Providing leadership in the service indicated within the care home
* Ensuring that personalised care and service is provided to the people requiring care and support
* Ensuring that the home meets all statutory requirements, professional and best practice guidance in accordance with all relevant policies and procedures
* Deputising for the General Manager and Deputy Manager in their absence
* Participating in the home's management team to assist the overall management
* Development of the home and its quality standards.

*Skills and Experience*

* Three years post-registration experience, with evidence of on-going continuing professional development.
* Working knowledge of Health & Social Care Act 2008 and National Minimum Standards.
* Excellent organisation, administrative, written and verbal skills.
* Demonstrable leadership and management skills.
* Excellent IT skills.
* Training experience.
* Ability to source evidence-based practice/best practice guidance.
* Clinical skills as specified by the Head of Care.

*Requirements: *

* Valid NMC Pin
* Clear DBS
* Three years post-registration experience, with evidence of on-going continuing professional development
* Clinical skills as specified by the Head of Care.
* A Registered General Nurse or Mental Health Qualification (RGN / RMN).
