We deliver best in class business transformation programmes to across the Public Sector with a target to release one billion pounds of savings to the public.We have established an enviable track record in the design and delivery of large-scale innovative HR, Payroll, IT, and Finance & Accounting solutions to significantly improve efficiencies and enhance service levels across Goverment and Public Sector.Our clients include a number of government agencies including the Department for Work and Pensions, Environment Agency Department for Education, Ministry of Justice and Home Office as well as the Metropolitan Police Service and the Construction Industry Training Board.Role OverviewThe Senior Business Analyst will take prime responsibility for identifying, quantifying, planning and delivering all business analysis activity on large projects or small programmes. They may also be member of team of Business Analysts working on larger initiatives. They may work directly with the business to provide consultancy to help shape a business vision, or undertake analysis, design, testing and implementation services on high complexity, high risk business critical systems (or sub systems). Typically works with the client's most senior business change executive and senior business stakeholders.Individuals work with a minimum of supervision, demonstrating a systematic, disciplined and analytical approach. Work within established processes, procedures and guidance, with minimum day-to-day supervision, to provide a range of support services to an agreed standard or specification.Key ResponsibilitiesWorking closely with the senior product owners translating high-level epics into user stories, and facilitate in high level business solution design to allow the teams to take the product forward.Delivers assignment in accordance with agreed scope, time, financial and quality measures.Elicit requirements using a number of techniques such as interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, use cases, scenarios and analysis of business process.Produce quality assured analyst documentation to agreed standards in line with the organisations project methodology. These documents could include BusinessCase Definition, Business Requirements Definition, Business / System Detailed Requirements, Business / Technical Non-Functional Requirements (e.g. system performance) and logical data models.Client engagement and stakeholder management during assignment and when required lead other analyst resource.Shares personal knowledge of 'expert' area through coaching and mentoring, running workshops, establishing 'special interest groups'.Essential SkillsStrong experience as a Business Analyst within a median to large scale organisation.Experience delivering business process and change solutions ideally within a technical environment.Experience of working within an internally facing role.A good understanding of requirements elicitation, analysis techniques and requirements management.Experience of working in the early stages of projects, helping shape unclear scope & requirements.Experience of developing and writing business cases, business requirements specifications.Previous line management experience.Desirable SkillsISEB BA certification and / or science and technical based degree.Obtained BCS International Diploma in Business AnalysisPassionate about stakeholder engagement, collaboration and effective change management.Experience of working in both Agile (Scrum) & waterfall environments.Ambition for career growth.If you are interested in this role but not sure if your skills and experience are exactly what we're looking for, please do apply, we'd love to hear from you!Full time permanentLocation: Salford, Newport, Newcastle, York, Hemel Hempstead or London, remote working option available.Security Clearance Level: Current SC or eligibility to undergo the vetting processInternal Recruiter: PaulSalary: Circa £50kBenefits: £5,400 car allowance, 25 days annual leave with the option to buy additional days, private medical, life assurance, pension, and generous flexible benefits fundAlthough this role is advertised as full-time, we support different ways of working and can offer a range of flexible working arrangements.
