Administrator- NHS Band 4

Your new company

A large healthcare provider which is supports the NHS in Tameside.

Your new role

As a Band 4 Project Support Administrator you will actively work across several workstreams relating to the workforce elements of the mass vaccination programme.

You will provide a vital support function to the lead employer workforce team, in particular supporting with workforce data entry, data manipulation and analysis, as well as workforce reporting, training database maintenance, communication with workforce and booking of training activities.

You must have an intermediate level of practical working knowledge of Excel and its many functions such as pivot tables and vlook ups. You will be confident working with data extracted from various sources.

This isn't purely a data\/ excel role along with being an excel expert you will be expected to support the multi-disciplinary teams, for example you would be expected to contact internal employees for information, obtaining information and liaising with the direct team managers.

With excellent organisational skills you will be able to manage demands from several sources and be able to juggle various administration tasks.

Excellent communication skills are required along with attention to details and being able to take accountability for the tasks is also essential.

You will be dealing with other health professionals and following a process driven way of working. You will be accurately inputting data to a computerised case-note recording system and drafting letters\/ emails.

What you'll need to succeed
Previous administration experience of using databases, running reports and an intermediate knowledge of excel is essential in this role.

You must be able to liaise with health professionals and line managers. Excellent communication skills, along with empathy and understanding of the service users.

What you'll get in return
This is a temporary role and is expected to last for 3 months plus. The role is 37.5 hours per week and you will be expected to be a mix of onsite working within government guidelines and a COVID-19 Secure workplace.
