Installation Tech Assistant - WD

What you will do

As a HVAC Engineer Assistant, you will be building new skills, while applying knowledge to real-world projects. There will be plenty of opportunities to explore your potential and you'll enjoy full support from your line manager and installation engineer. You will be required to ensure that you adhere to safe working practices and also be able to take instructions and act upon them in a prompt and professional manner. This is a genuine alternative to university for people who have a passion for engineering and who want to launch their career with us.

Ultimately, once trained and qualified, this role is responsible for the installation support of all projects across our UK HVAC division. This is a mobile role, working primarily in the North West.

How you will do it

As part of the installation team you will maintain customer confidence by keeping information strictly confidential regarding premise security and operational information. We expect you to adhere to all company and legal requirements at all times, including complying with Risk Assessments and Method Statements.

Health & Safety is extremely important for staff, ensuring compliance with all legislation. We'd like you to be involved in the delivery, loading and unloading of ductwork and associated HVAC Equipment. You will also be required to assist in the Workshop Duties and Housekeeping regimes as and when required.

Qualifications

What we look for

Required

UK Full driving license
Excellent Customer Service Skills
Teamwork - work within a Team of skilled and semi-skilled engineers
Good IT skills
Excellent communication skills

Preferred

Interest and/ or previous experience within refrigeration and air-conditioning industry
Ideally hold a recognised refrigeration qualification (City & Guilds)
Ideally hold current H&S / CSCS card
An enthusiasm to learn and an interest in problem solving

Please note:

Physical and manual handling involved with most equipment and tools
Additional Training will be provided where required
