Job description

Maintenance role for a large manufacturing company in the Burnley area providing electrical\/mechanical support

Your new company
They are a manufacturer that provide a number of different products to the global market across Asia, America and Europe.They have expanded over numerous years and are looking to keep expanding with their innovation and high quality manufacturing operations.

Your new role
You will be working the maintenance team and will work on a variety of processing equipment at the site. You will be responsible for planned and corrective maintenance and ensure reliability on the machinery. You will be tasked with reactive maintenance activities and try to reduce downtime. You will provide technical support to the production teams to help solve problems in their department and will have to maintain records for breakdowns and PPM on a computer system. You will be part of a call out rota and will be paid for this and also holiday or sick cover with overtime pay could be necessary. The hours are 39 hours per week working a permanent 2pm - 10pm and then 1pm - 8pm on a Friday.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need a recognised apprenticeship and a minimum of a C&G level 2 in an electrical\/industrial area. You will need to be adept at pneumatic fault finding and have the ability to use workshop machinery. Electrical skills are needed for basic fault finding etc. and the ability to read engineering drawings, especially electrical and pneumatic. Fault finding on PLC's is desirable along with 18th Edition IEE.

What you'll get in return
You will be paid a salary of up to \u00A334,000 and will receive 31 days annual leave including bank holidays. You will be enrolled in the company pension which requires a 3.75% employee contribution for a 4.25% employer contribution. You will also receive training in the role and overtime can be available.
