On behalf of our client school in Bury, Tradewind are recruiting a passionate Upper KS2 Teaching Assistant to join both a Year 5 and 6 class. This is a full-time role with an ASAP start, then following an initial period working on a temporary basis this role could become permanent and you may be offered a school contract.

Hold a Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant bachelor's degree.
Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
Have the legal right to work in the UK

This successful Bury based Primary School are offering an experienced TA the opportunity to join their dedicated team of staff. The role will involve general TA duties which include assisting the class teacher, 1:1 intervention work and taking group sessions with students to support learning. The school require a proactive professional who will inspire and encourage pupils to ensure the progression of attendance and maintain good behaviour. To be considered for this position you must have strong interpersonal skills; be dedicated to maintaining high standards of behaviour and take initiative in your role.
