Here in Manchester, we have a great opportunity for a Management Accountant to join our Finance Team leading on manufacturing reporting and analysis and monthly management accounts for the General Manager and their team.

This is a great opportunity for a qualified Management Accountant to join a global business offering great training and experience. We would also consider a finalist or part-qualified candidate close to completion.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Delivering full reporting and analysis on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, including ad-hoc reporting and requests.

* Monthly review and investigation of any customer queries/open invoice issues etc.

* Standard costing preparation and guidance

* Monthly management accounts reporting including MI Pack for the General Manager

* Monthly efficiency reporting including labour and headcount KPIs

* Order and revenue analysis by global location, value stream, industry and customer

* Product Group Reporting

* Ad-hoc reporting and projects as required

What we are looking for:

* An experienced graduate Management Accountant who has worked within an engineering business, ideally engineered to order

* Analytical and detailed with a quality focused approach

* An advanced user of Excel ideally with Power BI reporting

* SAP experienced ideally

* A problem solver who enjoys providing effective solutions

* Someone who sees the big picture and understands the needs of the customer and other stakeholders

* A confident communicator with commercial awareness and a customer centric approach

* Able to liaise with key stakeholders at all levels both inside and outside of the company

* Able to work on your own initiative as part of a small team

* Flexible and adaptable able to work to tight deadlines

We are based in Walkden with easy access to major transport links. Working hours are 37.5 per week Monday to Friday typically 08:00 - 16:00. We are piloting Remote Working up to three days per week in line with company policy.
