Group IT Manager Liverpool £50,000-£60,000+Benefits

My client are right at the forefront of British metal recycling. Having started in the early 1960's, the company has gone from strength to strength.

They operate out of their head office in Liverpool as well as having depots in Manchester, London and Southampton.

They are currently looking for an experienced IT Manager to join their Liverpool Head office.

The IT Manager position is a crucial hire for the business so the ideal candidate must have wide-ranging exposure and experience in business, management and IT disciplines and have an aptitude and willingness to learn quickly to adopt new skills.

Requirements/duties/Skills:

-Optimise technological infrastructure

-Set departmental objectives

-Hardware selection & procurement

-Software selection & procurement

-Direct & organise IT-related P-Manage IT Technician projects Design, develop & implement systems

-Maximise & enhance information flows -Manage departmental budget

-Effectively Manage assets

-Automate processes

-Approve purchases

-Maintain backup routines

-Implement corrective actions

-Liaise with IT Security Manager

-User access Matrix input

-Advise FD and Board

-Write User Requirements Specifications

Salary:

£50,000-£60,000+Benefits inc - Pension, Excellent holiday, Health care
