Join our small but fast-growing charity, with a strong vision, supportive working culture, and the drive to make an impact. Hope for the Future is a leading specialist in training citizens to work with politicians on climate change. Our vision is to see politicians of all political persuasions joining together with each other and with communities across the UK to take decisive action on climate change.

You'll lead our team of Constituency Support Officers who are working with communities across the North of England and Scotland to engage politicians in the climate change agenda. If you're the right person for the role, you'll believe in the potential of political engagement to address one of the world's greatest challenges, and you'll have a desire to advance your own expertise further in putting this into practice.

This is a 12-month maternity cover role starting in January 2022. Liverpool and home-based hybrid working, with national travel as required. Benefits include 30 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension contribution, flexible working, training and personal development opportunities.

The role will be based from our North West Regional Office in Liverpool with some home working. Whilst the majority of meetings are now online there will be some travel to meetings and workshops in the region, across the UK and to our main office in Sheffield as needed.

The post-holder will manage a small team of Constituency Support Officers (CSOs) based across the region to ensure we are supporting constituents to effectively engage their local MP or other political representatives to take action on climate change. The role requires a self-motivated individual with some experience of project management and community / political engagement processes.

The Regional Coordinator has two main areas of focus:

● Ensuring Hope For The Future's engagement, delivery and impact targets are achieved within the region

● Acting as the regional contact / lead for Hope For The Future, maintaining strong partner relationships and knowledge of local developments whilst working with the Head of Research and Engagement to identify and develop new opportunities within the region.
