Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Internal Doors

Area to be covered: North of England Ideally based: M62 corridor

Remuneration: £35,000 - £45,000 + 25% bonus

The role of the Area Sales Manager - Internal Doors will involve:

* External sales position selling a comprehensive range of high quality oak interior doors

* 60% concentration on developing relationships with independent merchants and managing / expanding those accounts

* Remaining 40% of your time will be spent selling to specialist door retailers

* Liaise with internal team regarding account management of existing clients

* Dealing with order values ranging from around £2k - £90k per month

* Approximately 60:40 split of time spent managing/ expanding existing accounts vs generating new business relationships

* Taking over approximately 100 active accounts

* Organising your own diary and visits in order to develop relationships with merchants

* Liaising with internal support staff and marketing team to maximise sales within your territory

* Covering a territory which will incorporate the North of England incorporating the North West, Yorkshire and the North East based within the M62 corridor

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Internal Doors with:

* Must have a proven track record of field based sales within the construction industry selling doors, internal doors, wood doors, oak door, joinery products

* Must have a demonstrable track record of selling to independent merchants and ideally specialist retailers

* Ideally have a black book on contacts and proven track record in developing new relationships with independent merchants

* Experience of developing long term relationships with clients

* Track record of stability within your career

* Genuine 'get up and go' work ethic

* Results orientated, hungry and enthusiastic
