Nuclear Industry - North West - Precision Engineering
For the last 60 years, our family-owned client has gained an enviable reputation in designing and manufacturing high-quality precision tooling, jigs & fixtures for the aerospace, nuclear and automotive industry. Their client portfolio includes Rolls Royce, BNFL, AWE, UKAEA, Airbus, Bentley and Bloodhound LSR.
Building on past successes, the business is now fully invested in developing growth in the Nuclear industry and seeks an experienced Business Development Manager to spearhead this journey.
Key activities
* Take accountability for driving business development in the market
* Setting the direction and strategy to achieve sales growth
* Free to develop all areas of civil & defence sectors
* Develop relationships with key tier 1 & 2 suppliers to BNFL, AWE, NDA, EDF, HPC and the MoD
* Develop and maintain key customer relationships
* Bid management
* Maintain market knowledge to drive future direction and sales strategies
Ideal Candidate:
* Min 5 years nuclear industry business development experience
* Self-starter / self-motivated
* Well connected in the industry
* Technical Sales background / Engineering background
* Experience in leading commercial negotiations on projects
* Experience in bid/project management
