Primary Teaching Assistant

Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire

£65-£80 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.

Vision for Education are looking to recruit a friendly and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant, to start immediately in local schools across Scunthorpe on an day to day and long-term basis.

The role:

We are looking for a creative and hardworking Primary Teaching Assistant, ideally with experience of working with Early Years, Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2 (EYFS/KS1/KS2) children. The Primary Teaching Assistant will be supporting the class teacher to maintain a fun and engaging learning environment, this is a varied role that will include full class support, small group interventions and occasional 1-to-1 work as required.

Requirements:

To be considered for the Primary Teaching Assistant position, you will:

• Have experience working in Early Years, Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2 (EYFS/KS1/2)

• Hold a minimum Level 2 childcare qualification

• Have excellent behaviour management skills

• Be a confident communicator, able to use your own initiative when required

• Have your own transport
