Publications Editor for The UK's regulator of doctors, 12 month FTC.

Your new company
As the UK's regulator of doctors, our role is to protect patients by promoting and assuring educational and professional standards for the medical profession. Based in Manchester. 12 month FTC.

Your new role
As Publications Editor, you will be responsible for producing a portfolio of reports, mainly our statutory annual report and our reports to the UK's devolved administrations. You will proactively work with teams across the company from initial brief and planning, to drafting and revising the reports and overseeing final publication. You'll use your excellent writing and project management skills to champion our tone of voice and digital first approach to produce reports that promote our work and speak to our audiences, and use your initiative to develop the most efficient and effective production model for these reports.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an excellent writer with experience in a similar role (eg. report writer, publications editor), you will excel at transforming complex information into engaging user-centred content for a variety of purposes. As well as having proven project management experience, you will be confident in building relationships with colleagues at all levels across a complex organisation. You will have knowledge of print and design production processes.

What you'll get in return
