What the role entails

As the Continuous Improvement Partner your role will be key within Group People Team, responsible for the delivery of process innovation and continuous improvement initiatives. It will play an important role in helping to foster a culture of sustainable change through the creation and embedding of LEAN or six sigma methodology, and the supporting framework, to deliver business transformation. Focused on the monitor and improvement of processes to make them as efficient as possible.

The main goal of the role is to facilitate Operational Excellence progress across the People functions and reduce costs, primarily around workflow inefficiencies, remove waste and low-value activities and recommend solutions. Guided by LEAN or six sigma methodologies, take the lead in recommending improvements in both efficiencies and effectiveness and driving the implementation of changes, acting as leader, manager, and coach.

To be successful in the role of Continuous Improvement Partner you will need to be able to demonstrate:

  • Previous experience on delivering continuous improvement projects in HR
  • A passion & enthusiasm for CI. to improve the "status quo"
  • A driven Leadership style with a resilience to overcome business issues
  • Practical experience of diagnosing, leading and delivering - a "do-er"
  • Advanced presentation skills
  • Strong Organisational skills
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Extensive experience and demonstrable ability in stakeholder management and relationship building
  • Superior interpersonal and influencing skills, together with a persuasive communication style preferrable
