Job description

Senior Digital Media Officer
37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
£28,989 - £33,104 per annum (additional 2% pay award pending in January 2022)

Digital Marketing is at the heart of how we recruit students and position our colleges with our communities and stakeholders. We're recruiting a key member of our small team to help us take our digital comms to the next level.

This new role will combine hands-on delivery of website content, social media and digital advertising with the chance to shape our online and digital presence, drive change and innovation and keep our colleges communicating effectively.

We're looking for someone who is already creating and managing brilliant online content in a big and complex organisation. You will be using CMS, social media management tools and data analytics on a daily basis to deliver rapidly changing content. You'll be looking for a role with autonomy where you can help shape comms strategy and content planning.

As well as being a 'digital native' you'll also have a creative and campaign-driven mindset, good copywriting skills and excellent attention to detail. The role will give you a chance to build supervisory and management skills with responsibility for a Marketing Apprentice. You'll also play a central role in all our other marketing activity from making open days work better to producing our prospectuses.

You'll be joining a compact team which works across City College Norwich, Easton College and Paston College, three strong institutions delivering further and higher education across Norfolk. Together we're one of the region's biggest providers of post-16 education, making a real contribution to our economy and to broader society.

For an informal discussion about the role please contact Andrew Hickley, Head of Marketing and Events, .
