Ready for your next big project? Radioactive Waste Management (RWM) are looking for a Geological Investigations Manager to develop and deliver the plans for surface based and underground investigations.
You will manage obtaining data from geological investigations and site based surveys as well as consulting with site teams and suppliers. You will play a key role in the successful delivery of site based for the GDF programme, so experience in characterising deeper geology, such as deep mining or oil & gas, is key.
You will be joining a resolute team and this role could suit whether you are experience or earlier on in your career. As a Geological Investigations Manager, you will;
Maintain and develop the understanding of approaches to the design and delivery of needs-driven investigations (surface-based and underground investigations, etc) and input this knowledge and understanding into discussions with key stakeholders, as necessary.
Responsible for preparing technical specifications suitable for procuring the full range of investigations and related activities needed to meet the site specific design, safety, and environmental assessment information requirements.
Support the Head of Site Characterisation in the development of a technical specification for a site characterisation database.
Responsible for managing and delivering high quality geological inputs to site evaluations, preliminary assessments, and Initial Site Evaluations for potential repository sites.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing organisation with a platform to enhance your career.
