*Location: * Gosford Lodge, 95 Bicester Road, Kidlington, Oxfordshire, OX5 2LD

*Salary: *£9.15 per hour + perks/discounts

*Hours: *25 hours per week This role is Monday to Friday - 9am - 2pm

*What does the cook do?*

Your role as the cook will be [but not limited to]:

· You will be responsible for the preparation and serving of meals for the home,

· To ensure all special dietary needs are followed and prepare food to a high level of quality and quantity.

· You will maintain relevant records and control stock rotation, ensure the kitchen is clean and hygienic at all times.

· You will set appropriate menus, complete weekly food shops while managing the budget, adhere to all safety standards.

· Set a professional example in work methods, procedures, personal presentation, timekeeping and hygiene.

· To maintain health and safety at work practices at all times.

*Where would I work?*

Gosford Lodge is a large, detached house in Kidlington, near Oxford, which provides residential support for eight men and women of varying ages with autism, severe to moderate learning disabilities and associated complex needs.

*What experience do I need?*

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have previous experience working in the catering sector and/or with people with learning disabilities or other disadvantaged groups. If you are caring, kind and want to work in a job that is genuinely rewarding, this is for you. We will train and mentor you to become a highly skilled professional.
