Job description

We currently have an opportunity for a supply Trainer/Practitioner to join the Health and Social Care team based at City of Oxford College.

As Care Suite practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering practical training sessions for our full-time learners and you will work closely with health care teachers and faculty managers, to ensure that all health care students have the opportunity to acquire the attributes and skills needed to work within different health care industries. Examples of activities that need to be covered include: principles of handwashing, taking/recording of blood pressure etc.

This is a part time (22 hours pw) role, covering a 2 week period initially, offering between £19.82 - £33.70 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.

What do you need to be successful in this role?

You will have experience and understanding of the key skills/practices needed when working within the care sector and the ideal candidate will also be clinically trained and have some physiological knowledge.

We're looking for candidates who are flexible and can work well with college learners and local secondary schools' students to ensure that they gain the employability skills needed to work in the care sector.
